Do you love hamburgers? Do you feel guilty about the fat and cholesterol of beef patties? Here's a suggestion--try bison burgers.

More and more farmers are raising bison for their meat. It has less fat and cholesterol than beef, but it tastes pretty good! When making bison burgers, the key thing to remember is that they are quite a bit leaner than beef burgers, so you can't cook it as long or it really dries out.

That said, the end product tastes fine and is better for you. Bison burger over a bun with some thin onion slices, tomato, mustard, and cheese, and you have a tasty treat!
